Terror – Free Oil

After a day of wall to wall news about climate change and how it’s now ‘very’ likely that it has been caused by human activity (very in this context apparently means over 90%), I was brought to my senses this evening when I read a news article about an organisation in America called Terror – Free Oil

What struck me like a sledge hammer between the eyes was not the name of the organisation, or even its aims to only sell fuel which has not come from Arab states (whom they obviously regard as the enemy), but rather the fact that in America those most precious institutions of freedom of speech and freedom of expression are still very much alive, whereas in Britain today which claims to be a free country – if anyone dared for one moment to say or act in a manner anything like Terror Free Oil they would be arrested quicker than you could say Jack Flash. Of Course you would never see a filling station like the one above because it wouldn’t get planning permission in a month of Sundays.

So put a date in your diary one year from now and then look back and see how many more freedoms have been taken away by a government who purport to serve the British people and ask who are they really serving because it isn’t you and me.
